Broker: Two year licensed real estate experience with 60 Hours of Real Estate Principles and Practices; 30 Hours Appraisal I (Basic Appraisal Principles) and 30 Hours of approved elective

The Basic Appraisal Principles and Basic Appraisal Procedures courses are part of required courses for those people who may be looking to become an appraiser.

Basic Appraisal Principles is a required class for a salesperson looking to obtain a brokers license. Basic Appraisal Procedures is an approved 30 hour elective for Broker Hours.

State of Connecticut Continuing Education Requirements for Salespeople and Brokers

Every two years, the State of Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection's Real Estate Commission requires licensees to complete a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education (CE). For 2014: The State of CT DCP has announced that a 100% audit will be performed on all Salespersons and Brokers licensed in CT to determine that all licensees have complied with and satisfied the requirements stated below:

3 Hours "CT Real Estate Law: Updated and Revisited" (mandatory for 2012-2014 CE cycle) 9 Hours of approved Real Estate Elective courses.

All these courses meet the requirements for your2014 continuing education License Renewal.
